Installing an above ground pool on a concrete slab is not recommended and would void the warranty. When a pool is installed on the ground the weight is distributed from the uprights to the ground. The ground shifts, settles and moves enough to allow the weight to be absorbed. It doesn’t move enough that this can be seen with the eye of course, but it does help evenly distribute the weight. When installed on concrete, this does not happen due to concrete not moving. This results in having all of the weight stress on the uprights without distribution. In many cases the uprights can give out and the pool installation may fail.
